This research is motivated by the importance of uncovering questions “is online application-based transportation a means of supporting education?” because of the development of public transportation in Indonesia is not just ordinary transportation but now has developed online application-based transportation. This online application-based transportation is widely used by the public for various purposes, including education. The research method used was a survey with questionnaire instruments to 477 respondents in several cities in West Java, Indonesia consisting of the high school students, the college students and the parents. Data processing was carried out in a qualitative descriptive. The results showed that most parents and almost half of the high school students and the college students stated that the online application-based transportation is a means of supporting education. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that half of the respondents said yes, and the other half stated no
