Preface for CEEPE 2019 Proceedings

In 2019, the Conference on Energy, Electrical, and Power Engineering (CEEPE) was hosted at one of the greatest universities in the world, the University of California, Berkeley, in historic Bowles Hall on the University campus. The organizer of this conference was the South Asia Institute of Science and Engineering (SAISE). This conference brought together researchers and engineers in academia and industry from around the world to discuss developments and implementations of electrical power in applications ranging from vehicles to commercial generation and distribution. Attendees were provided the opportunity to meet and converse with colleagues from different areas of the world, and to establish business and technical connections. Technical presentations and keynote addresses were heard over a span of two days, and ideas were exchanged over meals, breaks, casual discussions, and private meetings.
