The creation of a public participation platform for urban planning based on panoramic technology by combining CSS and THREEJS on the Web end provides an effective channel for the public to participate in urban planning. Panoramic technology is a new type of streaming media, it highly restores the planned content through the virtual simulation, panoramic technology could deepen the public understanding of the content of the plan, it also reduced the learning cost of public participation in planning due to the professionalism of planning. Through the mongo DB-based database, the planning and comment data can be effectively managed for the auxiliary decision-making of urban planning, and the democratic and scientific nature of urban planning can be improved.
