The aim of the study was the analysis of the 100mm naval artillery projectile performance and variations in Solidworks and Ansys computational environment. We realized the 3D model in Solidworks and simulation parameters were presented and analyzed in Ansys Explicit Dynamics. The purpose of this paperwork is to analyze 100 mm projectile by using the computational software for armour piercing performance. This paper is a numerical investigation of the complex processes of projectile impact.
