Review of Rotifers in Iraqi waters

This review aimed to survey the rotifers composition of water of Iraq. These data were taken from surveys in water of Iraq, comprising marine and freshwater waters. A total of 287 taxa belonging to twenty-eight families have determined in this review. Among the families, Brachionidae and Lecanidae showed a greater number of taxa, in contrast with the lower richness of Adinetidae, Conochilidae, Philodinavidae, Proalidae, Proahadae, Scaridiidae and Trochosphaeridae.
