The paper deals with various designs of alternating current plasma torches that can be used in the technological cycle for production of nanoscale materials. The results of experimental studies on the production of ultrafine powders of metal oxides (iron and aluminum) by plasma methods with the help of a laboratory installation based on an alternating current plasma torch are presented.
