
Technology of manufacturing powder from aluminium chips

The paper studies two technologies of manufacturing powder from aluminium chips of A7E brand. It presents the research results of physico-technological properties of the manufactured powders with different fractures. The dependencies of apparent density and tap density on the fraction size are identified. The influence of annealing on the compression rate is revealed. The most effective technology of manufacturing aluminium powder with high technological properties is identified. Aluminium powder, manufactured according to the proposed technology, is recommended for application in manufacturing constructional parts.
