Several estimators of the initial transverse polarization of a quark fragmenting into a jet are proposed and compared using Monte Carlo simulations. These are based on the simplified version of a recursive model [A. Kerbizi et al, Phys. Rev. D97, 074010 (2018)] which includes the quark spin degree of freedom.
