This research study was focused on the generation of optical solitons from an assembly of conical morphology quantum dots of GaAs. The interaction between a linearly polarized plane wave coming from a light source on a quantum dots assembly was considered for the development of the theoretical analysis. The non-linear Schrödinger equation was solved numerically through a code in Matlab, which allowed to describe the behavior of the propagation of the optical solitons in a non-linear optical fiber.
