After many years of research, optical flow algorithm has achieved good results in detecting moving objects in simple scenes, but the detection effect in some complex scenes is not ideal, for example, in scenes with changing illumination and large displacement, the accuracy of moving objects detection is low. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes texture decomposition of images, and applies texture image and pyramid technology to Lucas-Kanade optical flow algorithm. Relevant experiments show that this method can achieve better detection results for moving objects in static scenes.
