Layered Bi 2 SrTa 2 O 9 was achieved by solid‐phase synthesis and then cationic metalloporphyrin 5,10,15,20‐tetrakis(N‐methylpyridinium‐4‐yl) porphyrinato manganese (MnTMPyP), was intercalated into layered material Bi 2 SrTa 2 O 9 by a guest‐exchange method using n ‐PrNH 3 + ‐SrTa 2 O 7 as a precursor. The new intercalation multicomposite MnTMPyP‐SrTa 2 O 7 was characterised using X‐ray diffraction, infrared and scanning electron micrograph images. Moreover, the MnTMPyP‐SrTa 2 O 7 nanocomposite exhibited fine electrocatalytic activity towards oxygen reduction.
