This work studies the direct wave suppression technology of passive radar system based on ‘global system for mobile (GSM)’ communication. In order to suppress direct waves, this study proposes an adaptive suppression algorithm based on NLMScriterion. Achieves great suppression of the strong interference signal, and finally realised target positioning and velocity measurement to the actual measured GSM signal.
