A W‐band low‐sidelobe series‐fed microstrip antenna array is proposed here. Impedance matching section weighting method is used in element series‐fed weighting. This feeding method can effectively realise the desired amplitude distribution and sidelobe level of −30.1 dB is obtained in this design. The designed low‐sidelobe antenna has great practical value in antenna of W‐band portable radar.
