Recently, China Power Grid has built a number of multi‐infeed AC−DC systems, as the safety issues caused by voltage fluctuations have drawn much attention. The security device of a DC system is applied to correct voltage. First, it brings a new voltage control mode, classifies the DC system control device and disturbance mode, and puts forward an online evaluation skeleton drawing in AC−DC voltage security regions. Second, the optimisation model of voltage safety regions in different scales has been built based on this skeleton drawing. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of this method was proved through simulation of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers system.
