This study constructs a detailed DC micro‐grid model with an all‐DC wind farm integration and other distributed generation (DG) units. The components of the system are built‐in dynamics of each part with their interconnections to a common DC bus. The study aims to implement the coordination control among DGs in both grid‐connected and intentional islanding operation modes maintaining the common DC bus voltage within an acceptable range with the help of micro‐source controllers at the local level and central controller at the global level. System analysis considers both wind energy and solar irradiance/temperature changes in combination with load power variations under a time‐domain simulation in MATLAb/SIMULINK™ environment. The examined dynamics shows that the coordination control scheme of each component can ensure the voltage stability and normal power transmission. The proposed scheme would be a feasible option for a sustainable DC micro‐grid application.
