In order to solve the problem of three‐phase unbalance in low‐voltage distribution network caused by large‐scale access of distributed photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicles (EVs), an active load control method of three‐phase unbalance in distribution network was presented in this study. Firstly, the active load regulation system was established and its implementation scheme was detailed. Then the active load regulation strategy using an integrated multi‐objective optimisation control algorithm was put forward and a solution method based on improved genetic algorithm was also proposed to realise optimal load distribution. Finally, the validity and feasibility of the proposed strategy was verified by simulation and the simulation results show that the active load regulation strategy can improve the consumptive ability of distributed PV and EVs, and can effectively reduce the three‐phase unbalance degree to improve the quality of power supply.
