DC distribution network has become a popular research topic as it has many advantages. This study analyses the necessity of the formulation of voltage class series, the principles and influencing factors, summarises the DC distribution voltage level that has been applied, and proposes the alternative value of the distribution voltage at all levels. Then, the voltage evaluation index system of all levels is established. Finally, a whole DC distribution voltage class series is proposed through evaluation by the analytic hierarchy process.
