Here, a wideband patch antenna array with dual ±45° polarisations has been proposed and implemented in Ku ‐band for back‐haul services. Stacked patches and full‐corporate feeding technique are adopted for wideband performance. To achieve a high port isolation, feed networks of dual polarisations are physically separated and designed with a coupling cancellation technique. The experimental results show that the proposed antenna simultaneously covers a bandwidth of 13.3–16 GHz in terms of | S 11 |, | S 22 |<−12 dB and port isolation better than 30 dB. Furthermore, it has high gains >17.8 dBi as well as identical radiation patterns for ±45° dual polarisations. The proposed dual‐polarised patch antenna array has features of low profile, low cost, light weight, and ease of fabrication, which is very promising for microwave back‐haul applications.
