The study discusses the practical challenges of incorporating small antennas into electrically small, power‐limited devices, including those intended for wireless connection to the Internet of Things. It describes a number of common pitfalls and provides advice to antenna engineers and device designers on obtaining the best possible radio‐frequency performance.
