A novel method used to design multiple targets microwave power transmission antenna array that could transmit power wirelessly to discrete targets with different power division ratios is introduced in this study. The maximal transmission efficiency and the precise power division ratio could be achieved simultaneously by utilising the basis functions, which are optimised for high‐transmission efficiency, and the power division ratio is achieved precisely by investigating the transmission coefficients related to each basis function carefully. Two antenna arrays working at 2.45 GHz are designed and fabricated to verify the method. The power division ratios of array 1 and array 2 are designed to be 1:1 and 1:2 when the transmission distance is 10 cm, and the measured results are 1:1 and 1:2.1, respectively.
