The authors designed and fabricated a new frequency selective surface (FSS) based on non‐resonant elements. Unlike other FSSs, which use aperture element this one utilises patch element to achieve band‐pass response. Simulation shows that the new FSS has a large bandwidth and a stable response regarding to the change of incident angle.
