The study of electromagnetic wave propagation on human bodies in dynamic motion can yield valuable information toward the advancement of wireless body area network technology. A human body model and simulation methodology is presented that simulates loss between on‐body transmitting and receiving antennas during human motion activities. Experiments of human volunteers performing the motion activities complement the simulation approach. Motion capture data prescribes the model body position over simulated frames of the activity. Measured transmission data is used for comparison and validation of the simulations.
