This study focuses on the guaranteed control problem of continuous‐time Markovian jump systems. Different from the traditionally guaranteed controllers, a kind of failure‐tolerant controller is proposed. Particularly, the dwell times of controller suffering failures or not are constants. A Lyapunov function approach is used to analyse its stability, which could lead to convex conditions depending on such dwell times. Because of these conditions being LMIs, they could be tested and used to compute control gains easily. Two examples are used to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed methods.
