This study considers exponential synchronisation of complex networks (CNs) with time‐varying delays and non‐identical perturbations by using hybrid control schemes. Quantised adaptive control and quantised impulsive control are combined, and 1‐norm‐based analytical techniques are wielded. By using hybrid quantised controller, applying 1‐norm‐based analytical methods, and designing new Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions on exponential synchronisation are derived. These synchronisation criteria can guarantee that the considered CNs synchronise with given goal dynamics. Compared with some existing results, the authors results are more general and practical. Numerical simulations are exploited to validate the theoretical results.
