Finite‐time stabilisation involves finding state feedback controllers which stabilise the closed‐loop system in a finite‐time interval. This paper deals with robust finite‐time stabilisation of linear singular systems with interval time‐varying delay. Based on singular value decomposition method and a generalised Jensen inequality, we provide sufficient conditions for the design of such controllers guaranteeing the finite‐time stability of the closed‐loop system. The proposed conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
