Containment control problems for high‐order linear Markov jump swarm systems with a dynamic output feedback under directed interaction topologies are investigated. A necessary and sufficient condition for Markov jump swarm systems to guarantee output containment is proposed. A sufficient condition is further presented to ensure the scalability of the criteria. Finally, numerical simulations show that the swarm system achieves output containment under the sufficient condition.
