A wideband polarisation‐insensitive metasurface (MS) has been proposed for tunable near‐field scattering focusing. The MS is composed of dual‐polarised unit cells with tunable reflection phases covering a range of 360°. Designed with the optical path method, the proposed MS demonstrates precise tunable and polarisation‐insensitive near‐field focusing in a wide band from 11 to 13 GHz in both simulation and experimental results.
