A novel impedance transformer (IT), which transforms different terminations at multiple bands is reported. This transformer is especially suitable for extremely low and high impedances. By utilising the impedance buffer method and introducing ladder networks, this IT is generalised and is available to arbitrary number of bands theoretically. For verification, a quad‐band prototype is fabricated and measured. The results show good agreement with the design expectations.
