A novel wideband balanced‐to‐unbalanced filtering unequal power divider with wide stopband and isolation is proposed. The wideband filtering response with high frequency selectivity can be realised easily using the modified two‐port coupled lines with short‐ and open‐circuit stubs, thus generating two transmission zeros near the passband. The complete closed‐form equations are presented. A fabricated prototype with 1 : 2 power dividing ratio is simulated and measured to validate the proposed design.
