A new quadruple‐mode resonator (QMR) is proposed to design a self‐packaged dual‐band bandpass filter (DBBPF) by using the substrate integrated suspended line (SISL) technology. The low insertion losses of the fabricated DBBPF are 0.52/1.76 dB and the fractional bandwidth are 65.4%/9.2% for two operation passbands at 2.65/8.71 GHz, respectively. The measured results are in good agreement with electromagnetic simulation.
