A simulation model of RFID backscatter signals developed under Ansoft designer environment is proposed. Despite the complexity of RFID tag and the hybrid properties of the backscatter signal, the model fits very well with measurement. An example of application that reveals the collision problem in multi‐tag environment is performed and confirmed by measurements.
