A planar out‐of‐phase Gysel power divider (PD) with high power splitting ratio based on shorted coupled lines is proposed. The design parameters of the proposed PD are analysed according to transmission line theory. For illustration, a 2 GHz experimental circuit with power dividing ratio of 10:1 is designed and fabricated. The measured results are shown in good agreements with the simulated ones.
