A fibre bundle has been developed for coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microendoscopy. The polarisation scheme was employed to suppress the four‐wave mixing (FWM) effect in the fibre. High collection efficiency of epi‐CARS signals and isolation of excitation lasers are achieved. Epi‐CARS and epi‐FWM images were compared in different polarisation schemes. The use of a broadband dual wavelength waveplate offers spectroscopic imaging capability to the system, which was shown by using ex vivo imaging mouse tissues.
