A time‐delay perturbation (TDP) method is proposed to achieve the shifting of the stable resonant operating points of bifurcated inductive power transfer (IPT) systems. Theoretical analysis and experimental results have shown that the TDP method provides an effective way to shift the system operating point to any targeted stable point by simply specifying the corresponding control parameters.
