Fetal liver length was measured by ultrasound in 14 pregnancies with twin–twin transfusion syndrome. The liver size was increased above normal values in both the donor (small) and recipient (large) twin. The liver length was significantly greater than in a control group of dichorionic twin pregnancies with discordant growth. Measurement of liver length may be useful in diagnosing twin‐twin transfusion syndrome. Copyright © 1997 International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology
