The partnership between the Norwegian Nurses Association (NNA) and the Nursing Association of Nepal (NAN) was aimed at developing NAN as an association, as well as supporting its efforts to provide nursing services to the population of Nepal. From 1990 to 1995, NNA representatives visited Nepal regularly to discuss project outcomes and future plans. In 1998 a post‐project analysis was conducted in Nepal by NNA in cooperation with NAN to assess the value of the project two years after its completion. Below Dorothy Ann Böhler and Per Godtland Kristensen report on the project's accomplishments.
