SUMMARY We previously reviewed different technical modifications and improvements in apical dissection in radical retropubic prostatectomy which have a considerable effect in optimizing the results. This second paper focuses on the vesico‐urethral anastomosis and aspects of nerve‐sparing prostatectomy.
