ANTRETTER, H., et al. : Inferior Vena Caval Loop of an Endocardial Pacing Lead Did Not Solve the Growth Problem in a Child. This report describes a transvenous pacemaker lead insertion into a child's right ventricle with a loop formed within the inferior vena cava to allow growth. Five years later emergency revision was necessary because of loss of capture. The expected lead release had not taken place.
