The CLEAR (critical literature evaluation and research) module was developed to meet an identified need in both trainees and Fellows for the basic tools to allow them to plan research projects and evaluate research papers. This paper describes briefly the way in which the module was developed and presents results of participant evaluation of the mature product, which indicate a high level of satisfaction.
