Abstract A Caucasian woman presenting with recurrence of intraocular toxoplasmosis was given intravitreal clindamycin. She subsequently developed a hypersensitivity reaction in the form of a generalized erythematous rash. To the authors’ knowledge, hypersensitivity reactions to an antibiotic given by the intravitreal route have not previously been reported.
