Recently, some studies revealed that gastric cancer and precancer, were more frequent in individuals with H. pylori antibodies. Histological studies, found that the relationship between H. pylori infection and gastric cancer were in wide range (19% ‐ 80%). In our department, from 1999 Jan 1 st to 1999 Dec 31 th No biopsy, showed severe atrophic/dysplasia, or lymphoid follicle. Age, ethnic and location were also studied, correlated to malignant and premalignant lesions.
