In some lines and F 1 hybrids of winter hexaploid triticale ( xTriticosecale Witt.), significant positive associations were found amongst leaf anatomy, plant morphology, chlorophyll content, photochemical activity of chloroplasts, and photosynthetic or grain productivity. The data may be useful in practical triticale breeding.
