A novel putative capsular polysaccharide consisting of d ‐Glc p and d ‐Fru f in the molar ratio of 1 : 1 was isolated as minor constituent from the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) fraction of Pseudomonas ( Burkholderia) caryophylli .
