Increased percentage of Psychopathic personality disorder in our study is probably due to measures of Psychopathology used differently by different authors. Secondly psychopathology is associated with treatment failure (Mclellan & Colleague, 1979); so cases of Psychopathic personality will go on accumulating. Lastly due to increase in cost and non availability, opiate use may be becoming more selectively appealing to those with propensity for deviation.
