In the article, What did doctors really do? In search of a therapeutic perspective of American medicine, by M. A. Flannery, in Volume 24, Issue 2 of the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics , an error appeared. On p. 152, the sentence ‘In the 1880s and 1990s most pharmaceutical research . . .’ should read ‘In the 1880s and 1890s . . .’. We apologise for this error.
