This book, the work of an experienced pathologist, is designed to promote accuracy in hsematological diagnosis and to present in photomicrographic form the essential features of the peripheral blood and bone marrow changes in diseases affecting the haematopoietic system. The author upholds the importance of sections of bone marrow tissue in diagnosis, and many of the illustrations are black-and-white photographs of fixed sections which convey little to those unacquainted with the examination of such preparations. There are, however, many excellent photomicrographs of blood and
