Abstract Papular–purpuric gloves and socks syndrome (PPGSS) occurs mainly in young adults, but it should also be considered in the differential diagnosis of childhood exanthems. The case presented here is the youngest patient hitherto reported with PPGSS and supports the concept of a viral genesis.
