Visual geneogram work with an individual and the subsequent changes are described. These include changes in self‐perspective, family relationships and the visual features of a sequence of geneograms drawn by the individual. The paper is a single case study. Theoretical and clinical issues relevant to the nature of visual geneogram work are discussed.
