This presentation describes the speakers experience of gathering performance indicator data, for biobank assessment. Problems encountered in collecting data on the number of publications resulting from supported studies are described. These include difficulty in obtaining a complete record of all the resulting publications and also frequent misnaming of the biobank in the acknowledgment section of papers. The presentation also includes a discussion of approaches to providing credit to all the contributors in the biobanking effort.
