Summary In two series of peripheral blood leucocyte cultures taken from a Mantoux positive donor it was found that following tuberculin (P.P.D) injections there were (1) increases in the number of cultured lymphocytes responding to P.P.D. by transformation to blast cells, and (2) decreases in the number of macrophages attaching to cover slips in the presence of P.P.D.
